Executive Finance Committee
The Executive Finance Committee (EFC) is comprised of four (4) members of the Board of Commissioners and (1) alternate member. The Committee oversees matters relating to Board governance, fiscal and administrative policy formation and revision. The EFC has been delegated authority by the Board to approve contracts for goods and services up to $1 million, and all contracts for Pierce Transit to acquire or use property of others or to allow the use of Pierce Transit property by others which exceed the CEO’s award authority up to a maximum amount of $1 million.
How to Participate in a Public Meeting During COVID 19 Pandemic:
Meetings are held at 3:00 p.m. the third Thursday during the months of January, March, May, July, September, and November and are sometimes canceled or rescheduled due to holiday or other events. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, until further notice all public meetings will be held virtually pursuant to Governor Proclamation 20-28 pertaining to the Open Public Meetings Act.
