Start a New Rideshare
A rideshare is a group of 3 to 15 people who share their commute to and from work. Each group has an assigned driver, backup driver and bookkeeper. Need help finding riders? Visit our Find Riders page.
To start a new group, visit Rideshare.PierceTransit.org, and:
- Select “Start Ridesharing”
- Fill out the form and create your commuter profile
- Select “Start a Rideshare”

Join an Active Rideshare
We have hundreds of active rideshares already on the road. Find one that matches your commute. Visit Rideshare.PierceTransit.org, and:
- Select “Start Ridesharing”
- Fill out the form and create your commuter profile
- Select “Join a Rideshare”

Book a Day Ride
Not ready for a commitment but want to try out Rideshare? Looking for a short-term solution to get you to work? Go to Rideshare.PierceTransit.org and enter your commute information in the search fields to get matched with an active Rideshare. Using the menu prompts, schedule your ride and pre-pay your fare.

Fares
Pierce Transit Rideshare offers a simple flat rate fare option. All monthly fares are based on the distance your rideshare commutes each day.
