At this time, no vehicles are available to start new Vanpool groups. However, there are openings for new riders in some existing Vanpools under these listings:

Thank you for your interest in Pierce Transit’s Vanpool Program. Our vanpools serve groups commuting to and from work, whose trip origin or destination is in Pierce County. The convenience and ease of sharing the ride, combined with its economic benefits, make vanpooling a great alternative to driving alone.
Vanpool participants pay a low monthly fare based on the average daily round-trip mileage and the number of monthly riders in the van. Fares cover fuel, maintenance, and insurance.
Since we currently do not have available vans for new vanpool groups, we have a wait list and serve new groups as existing groups terminate. To get on the wait list, all members of the potential group must complete appropriate paperwork. Please contact one of the vanpool coordinators listed above if you want to start a new vanpool group that commutes from, or into, Pierce County.
