GOING OUR WAY? Vanpool riders wanted!

Welcome Van

Tired of filling that gas tank all by your lonesome?

Tired of being stuck in traffic for hours, because you have no one to share the HOV lanes with?

Well, cheer up!  We have the following vanpools, all set up and ready to ride, that would love to have you on board!

Tacoma to Tukwila

Do you commute each weekday from Tacoma to Tukwila?  If you work at or near Group Health Cooperative, for a 4:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. work shift, you may be in luck to share the ride.  We have a vanpool group originating from the Tacoma Dome Station that is seeking additional riders.  Call Jennie at 206.901.4848 or betts.jl@ghc.org for vanpool fare costs, route and pickup details.  If you have not ridden a Pierce Transit Vanpool in the past 12 months, you can try vanpooling for five days at no charge.

University Place to Tacoma

Commuting from University Place to TPU on 35th Street?  Or how about to the City of Tacoma Environmental Services on E. Portland Ave?

We have a vanpool with seats available that serves an 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. work shift, Monday through Friday.  This group originates in University Place with stops along the way.  If you work this shift and work near either of these two worksites, check out this vanpool.  Join the fun and leave your car at home.  For information on fares and pickup points, contact Yelena Brusser at 253.404.6918 or ybrusser@cityoftacoma.org

Lake Tapps to Seattle

Looking to ease your commute from Lake Tapps to Auburn near the Sounder Station, or on to Seattle zip code area 98108?  If you live in or close to zip code 98391 or even in Auburn, and are commuting Monday through Friday to Seattle, specifically to The Boeing Company worksite on Trenton, consider vanpool!

We have a vanpool with seats available that serves an 5:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. work shift, Monday through Friday.  If you work this shift at a worksite near the Auburn Sounder Station or Boeing, and are interested in trying vanpool, call today!  For information on fares and pickup points, contact Troy Freeman at 206-544-5924.  And, if you have not ridden a Pierce Transit vanpool in the past 12 months,  you can try vanpooling up to five days free!
