Pierce Transit is excited to continue our FREE TO GO promotion, which runs through December. FREE TO GO offers new, trial users up to 5 free vanpool rides. We figure once you try vanpooling, you will like it and decide that it's the only Way to Go!
Just contact us for more information, or contact any Pierce Transit Vanpool Driver or Bookkeeper for more FREE TO GO information. Here's how the program works:
- To qualify for use of the
FREE TO GO certificate the rider must be a new, trial vanpool
rider who has not ridden Pierce Transit vanpool in the previous 12 months.
- The certificate is good
on Pierce Transit vanpools only.
- The certificate is not redeemable
for cash.
- The certificate's redemption
value cannot exceed $10. If the rider's daily fare exceeds $10, then
the rider must pay the difference.
- The trial user can receive
and use up to 5 free rides with the certificate.
- Once those 5 rides are used,
the trial rider must either join the vanpool as a regular monthly rider
or drop out of the vanpool.
- The certificate cannot be applied toward the monthly vanpool fare.
Note: Once you've used up to 5 free rides and then decide to join the vanpool, just pay either the full monthly fare or the daily fare for any days remaining in the month, whichever is less. The certificate may not be applied toward a reduction in the monthly fare or the daily fares for any trips taken after using 5 free rides.
