PIERCE TRANSIT rents portable toilets on an ongoing basis for use at various Transit Centers and Park & Ride Lots and is seeking bids for a variety of rental scenarios.

Quantities
Pierce Transit reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of units at anytime during the contract period as needed.

Units
Portable toilet units shall be clean, in excellent condition, free from defects, and without graffiti. Units shall have self-closing doors with hardware installed that will allow the door to be locked from the outside with Pierce Transit's standard padlock. Contractor will be provided with a key to access all units.

Service
Service shall include removal and disposal of waste in accordance with state and local law. Service shall also include removal and disposal of human waste and trash in and around the unit, cleaning of the unit inside and out, removal of graffiti, repairing any damage, refilling with chemicals, stocking of toilet paper, water, hand cleaner and other consumables where applicable. Services shall be recorded by date to a label affixed inside each unit. Contractor shall assume all liability and risk associated with the use of the units. This includes repair of damages due to accident, weather, or vandalism, as well as removal of graffiti. The Contractor shall repair or replace any unit that becomes unsuitable for use within 24 hours of being notified by Pierce Transit via telephone, fax, or e-mail.

Reporting
Contractor shall provide a report at the end of each month detailing the condition of the portable toilets and any issues resolved for each location.
