ANTI-FREEZE / COOLANT

Pierce Transit has a need for a supply of anti-freeze / coolant to be used in various types of equipment, including buses, vans and cars. Bidders are requested to furnish any necessary technical information regarding the anti-freeze / coolant being proposed with the bid package to assist in product evaluation. Bids not meeting minimum specifications will be rejected. Pierce Transit’s determination of an "or equal" product shall be final.

Quantity
Approximately 5,380 gallons of anti-freeze / coolant was used by Pierce Transit during the period of January 1, 2009 thru December 31, 2009. The quantity shown represents approximate annual usage to be used for bid evaluation purposes only and shall not be considered a guaranteed quantity. Pierce Transit is not obligated to purchase any specific quantity or make purchases at any specific time during the contract period. Orders will be placed in quantities as needed throughout the term of the contract.

TERM OF CONTRACT
The contract shall be for a period of one (1) year with an optional one-year contract extension.
