Automatic stop and route announcements have begun on routes 1, 2, 3, and Sound Transit Seattle Express routes. Announcements for all routes begin this fall.
- Destination and route announcements are made by the trax system each time the doors open at a stop.
- ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) call-outs are announced at designated points along the routes.
- Upcoming stop information is displayed on an interior LED sign.
Pierce Transit needs your help to make the trax system helpful and useful. Please report any problems with the timing of stop announcements, interior volume, or pronunciation issues to us so we can look into fixing them. You can report problems by filling out a customer comment card (located at the front of the bus), sending us an e-mail, or reporting it on the form below.
When reporting issues with announcements, please be as specific as possible. Include the route, direction of travel, time of day, vehicle number and a complete description of the problem.
